Student Scholarships

Application deadline is Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, midnight.
 
High school students must currently be in their senior year and must attend a Beaverton public, private or alternative high school. Applications from students who are homeschooled will also be accepted who reside within Beaverton School District boundaries.

New this year, the Arts Program is also offering $1,000 scholarships to students who are currently enrolled in courses at Portland Community College.
There is no age limit for these scholarships. Students must be living in the Beaverton School District or have attended a Beaverton public, private or alternative high school.

The following scholarships will be awarded:
  • $1,000 for Outstanding Visual Art High School Senior - includes traditional media, design and moving image.
  • $1,000 for Outstanding Performance Art High School Senior - includes music, dance, singing and drama. Tech crew members can also apply.
  • $1,000 for Outstanding Visual or Performance Art Portland Community College student.
A letter of recommendation from a visual art or performance art instructor must be attached to the application.
The scholarships are generously funded by the Beaverton Arts & Culture Foundation and Celebration of Creativity Committee of Southminster Presbyterian Church.
