The Economic Development Division operates under the framework of the 2011-2016 Beaverton Economic Development Strategy. The strategy is structured to assist with retaining, expanding, and recruiting employers (firm-based), facilitate new or expanded real estate investment opportunities as well as address quality of life components (place-based), and assist Beaverton residents looking to start a small business or find employment (people-based).
