The City's Storm Response Plan

Flooding, wind, freezing rain, and snow - the advent of another Pacific Coast winter threatens to create dangerous driving conditions and concern about access to work, school, and business. This guide informs roadway users about the City of Beaverton’s storm response plan. It also provides tips for motorists and residents to help keep themselves safe.
Beaverton coordinates winter road operations with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Washington County road departments through the Cooperative Public Agencies of Washington County.

Requesting Help / Reporting Road Hazards

To request help or report a road hazard, contact the following organizations:
  • Flooding inside the Urban Growth Boundary, but not in City

  • Hazardous road conditions
    • For a hazard within the City of Beaverton during working hours, call (503) 526-2220 or (503) 526-2261 after hours
    • Non-emergency response: (503) 629-0111
  • Life-threatening situations
    • Emergency response: 9-1-1
  • State highways
    • ODOT: (503) 229-5002
  • All other roads in unincorporated urban and rural Washington County
