Affordable Housing Tax Exemption
This program allows a tax exemption for affordable housing construction in which the residents earn 60% of the median area income. Please note that this program is for non-profit developers only. More details. 2017 Program Application.
Funding and technical support for assessing environmental conditions and cleanup planning on commercial and industrial properties. More details.
Research services to help businesses start, grow or locate in Beaverton including demographics, commercial property information, industry analysis and market intelligence. More details.
Qualifying Enterprise Zone firms with substantial ecommerce transactions can receive an additional income tax credit for three to five years on new investments directly related to electronic commerce activities. More details.
Eligible office and industrial firms in the city’s designated enterprise zone boundary can receive a three to five year property tax abatement on qualifying new improvements and equipment. More details.
Food Cart Pod Competition
In 2015 the City of Beaverton adopted new regulations to allow Food Cart Pods. The city selected the winner in June 2016 and is providing a 50% matching grant up to $25k to assist the first Food Cart Pod in Beaverton. More details.
Storefront Improvement Pilot Program
Business and property owners located in Beaverton’s Downtown or Allen Blvd Program Areas are eligible for matching grants towards exterior improvements. Design grants for such improvements are also available. More details. Design Application or Improvement Application.
Tenant Improvement Pilot Program
New and existing downtown restaurant owners are invited to apply for a new matching grant program aimed at interior improvements to food and beverage service businesses that increase foot traffic and vitality of Beaverton’s downtown. More details. Application.
Vertical Housing Program
A partial property tax exemption is available for developers of mixed-use vertical residential projects within one of three Vertical Housing Development Zones. More information.
Workforce Training Assistance
Training expense reimbursement for eligible new employees in targeted industries. Eligible industries include software and information services, instrumentation, electrical and electronics equipment manufacturing, sporting goods and apparel, and food processing. More details.
